Your visit. Your choice.
Website privacy notice / Updated 6 November 2026
1. Who we are
NIV TEAM is an independent software engineering studio. The NIV TEAM engineering team operates niv.team and is responsible for the information described in this notice when you visit the site or contact us.
Studio contact: NIV TEAM PTE. LTD.
68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422.
For privacy enquiries and requests, email hello@niv.team, mentioning “NIV TEAM privacy”.
2. Information we receive
- Website requests. Our server receives your IP address, requested URL, time, browser information and referring page to deliver and protect the site. These may be recorded in server logs.
- Project enquiries. Email or Telegram messages contain the details you choose to share: for example, your name, contact information, project brief and correspondence.
- Audience statistics, only with consent. Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrika receive pages viewed, link interactions, cookie identifiers, device and browser details, referring pages and approximate location. Your IP address is also transmitted when your browser connects to a provider.
- Session replay, only with separate consent. Yandex Webvisor receives visit data and can record browsing, scrolling and clicks and create click maps to help us understand usability.
There are no accounts, purchases or contact forms on this site. Providing an enquiry and accepting analytics are optional. We cannot reply without a way to reach you. Email and Telegram links open services with their own privacy terms. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information or secrets in an initial message.
3. Why we use it
- Deliver and secure the website: our legitimate interest in providing a working site, diagnosing faults and preventing abuse (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
- Respond to a project enquiry: steps at your request before a contract or performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)); for business contacts acting for an organisation, our legitimate interest in responding to that organisation (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Audience statistics and session replay: your consent for each purpose (Article 6(1)(a)). They help us improve content and usability. Refusal does not restrict access or your ability to contact us.
- Keep records required by law: a legal obligation, where applicable (Article 6(1)(c)).
We do not use this site to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Cookies and your choice
No Google or Yandex script, tracking pixel or analytics request is sent before consent. Scrolling, continuing to browse or leaving the notice unanswered does not give consent. Both optional purposes start off. Reject all (Essentials only) and Accept all are available together; Customize choices lets you choose each purpose independently. Replay uses the Yandex tag and its visit data; choosing replay alone does not load Google Analytics.
- Preferences, on your device:
themein local storage remembers the appearance you select until you change it or clear storage.niv.analyticsConsent.v2stores your purpose choices, notice version and time for up to 180 days. Acceptances and refusals have the same lifetime. These preferences are not sent to an analytics provider. - Google Analytics, optional: property G-QDQGY1S6CY. First-party
_gaand_ga_*cookies distinguish browsers and sessions; this site's configuration limits their lifetime to 180 days and disables automatic renewal. Advertising consent, Google signals and advertising personalization are disabled. - Yandex.Metrika, optional: counter 113692027. Common first-party cookies include
_ym_uidand_ym_d(up to one year),_ym_isad(20 hours) and_ym_visorc_*for replay (30 minutes). Metrika also uses local storage for identifiers and pending requests. Provider-domain cookies may last longer. See the provider's storage inventory (opens in a new tab) ↗ for its current list.
Use , also in every page footer, to change or withdraw consent at any time. Choose Reject all (Essentials only) to withdraw both purposes, or save individual choices. Withdrawal stops the tags, removes accessible first-party analytics cookies and Metrika browser storage, and reloads the page to remove running trackers. Changing replay permission also reloads the page to apply the new choice.
Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing or erase information already held by a provider; contact us to request deletion. We cannot remove cookies on a provider's own domain. When consent expires or the notice changes materially, analytics remain blocked until a new choice. With JavaScript disabled, no analytics or tracking pixel loads.
5. Providers and international processing
The website is hosted on our server in the Netherlands. Our hosting, email and messaging providers handle technical requests or communications needed to provide those services. Our team accesses information needed to respond to enquiries and operate the site.
If you consent, Google Analytics and Yandex.Metrika receive information directly from your browser. Their processing may take place outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States and Russia. Cookie consent alone does not establish a lawful basis for an international transfer.
Provider information: Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) ↗, Google's partner-site information (opens in a new tab) ↗, and Yandex Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) ↗. Contact us for information about the arrangements applicable to your data.
6. Retention and security
We retain enquiry correspondence while responding and while follow-up on that project is reasonably expected. Records needed for an ongoing project, a legal obligation or a dispute are retained for that purpose and its applicable retention period. On the web server, logs rotate daily with 14 archived rotations, normally about 15 days in total.
Your browser choice expires after 180 days. Browser cookie lifetimes are listed above; data already sent to an analytics service has a separate retention period determined by the property settings and provider terms. Clearing cookies does not delete those server-side records. You can ask us about applicable retention or request deletion.
We use HTTPS and restrict access to the server and project correspondence to people who need it.
7. Your rights and requests
Where GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent at any time. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including in the EEA country of your habitual residence, workplace or the alleged infringement. The EDPB lists the EEA authorities (opens in a new tab) ↗.
Send requests to hello@niv.team. We will normally respond within one month. For a complex or numerous request, GDPR allows up to two additional months; we will explain the extension within the first month. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and locate records. We will explain if a legal exception prevents us from fulfilling a request.
8. Changes to this notice
We update this notice when the site or its processing changes. The date above identifies this version. A material change to optional processing requires a fresh choice before those trackers load.
